Fan Art Celebration! Wonder Woman!

Welcome to Fan Art Celebration week! I'll be posting some of my favorite DC Comics ladies in a style inspired by... oh but you'll have to wait until Friday to know of the awesome thing that finally inspired me to do a bit of dabbling in fan art. I looked at my go to illustration style, modified it a bit and there you go! Adorable super heroes!

This is my Wonder Woman in the classic costume! Wonder Woman is my absolute favorite character. She can be deadly, diplomatic, regal, fun, political and funny. She's a relatable role model!

These Cherries are little doodles I cooked up during class. It's so crazy the way the colors change the personality of the character. They alternate from happy, mellow and loopy!

Learning Maya

I'm taking Maya classes at work. I'm hoping it will lead to animation or at least an understanding of 3D animation. It's crazy fun though to create characters in 3D, it helps you visualize the WHOLE character as opposed to one angle. So please enjoy my very simple cupcake!

Minimalist Posters: Cronocrímenes

I love this movie! We saw it at Fine Arts Metro without knowing anything about it and it hit us like a ton of bricks. So good! But even better, it sparked a mild obssession with Nacho Vigalondo and his short films.

Minimalist Posters: Juno

I will never get tired of watching this movie. The Tic Tacs were Pauly Bleeker's eccentricity, and Juno really dug it.
